Cruise Information and Registration

Program Schedule

Riverboat cruise programs can be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from March through October. In most cases, the program lasts from 9:00-1:30, but can have some flexibility based on bussing needs. We will be on BB Riverboat’s River Queen from arrival until approximately 10:30, with the remaining time in a ballroom doing round robin stations. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend boat time beyond 10:30 due to a time conflict with BB Riverboat’s lunch cruises, so it is ideal to arrive as close to 9:00 as possible.

In most cases, FORE also provides an in class presentation that prepares students for the trip on the Thursday or Friday the week before. This can be any class period during the school day. If multiple classes will be participating, we are able to provide the presentation multiple times.

Capacity

Elementary and Middle School programs are limited to 50 students with a minimum of three adult chaperones.
High School programs are limited to 40 students with a minimum of three adult chaperones.

Cost

The fee for this program is currently $15 per student. A group minimum charge of $400 applies for groups less than 27 students.

Thanks to the generosity of our funders, FORE is able to offer discounts for schools with 25% or more of students on free and reduced lunch programs. We have never turned a school away due to cost!

Location

Programs get underway at BB Riverboats in Newport, Kentucky.
