Hello and thank you for your interest in joining Ohio River Sweep! Foundation for Ohio River Education, Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission, and WAVE Foundation at Newport Aquarium are working together to hold a cleanup event along the Ohio River and at the confluence of the Licking River in Newport Kentucky at Newport on the Levee.
The cleanup will go from 10am until 12pm. Shirts, gloves, bags, and water will be supplied, but please bring your own water bottle to fill up at the station. Parking will be at James Taylor Park in Newport, KY, or at Newport on the Levee Parking Garage, which does cost, but we are working on getting vouchers for parking.
We will be meeting at the lower level of the levee along the river straight out from the Newport Aquarium employee entrance, which will be on a map sent out before the event. We look forward to cleaning up the river with you!
